Hammered Tin Milagro

As a gift to a long to term employee, Sarah Heartt from the LaFarge Foundation of Latin American Folk Art brought this Milagro to us for framing. Sarah wanted a very nice presentation to honor their Foundation Secretary for his many years of service to be presented to him at his retirement reception. Sarah chose a dark blue satin  reverse for the float board behind the piece with an elevated mat wrapped in a dark green variegated colored silk and a brushed silver fillit to accent the inside edge of the mat. A second window was made for a brushed pewter engraved plaque that was backed with black mat board. The brushed contemporary silver frame was the finishing touch. The piece looks wonderful. What a nice way to say Thank you.

and  Thank You Sarah Heartt.
